11.1 Use of AI-generated and AI-assisted visuals

HABÄNE may use images, concept renders, lifestyle scenes, backgrounds, campaign visuals and other creative material that are generated, materially altered or enhanced using artificial intelligence. Such content may be used for product representation, concept visualization and marketing purposes.

11.2 Product representation and accuracy

AI-generated or AI-assisted visuals are illustrative unless expressly identified as actual product photography. The binding product characteristics are the written description, technical specifications, dimensions, included components, selected colour/finish and actual product photography clearly identified as such. AI-generated visuals must not depict or imply product functions, materials, accessories, certifications, dimensions or performance characteristics that are not supplied or substantiated.

11.3 Transparency labels

For the Germany/EU-facing storefront, Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (EU AI Act) applies from 2 August 2026 to specified transparency-risk uses of AI. Where content published by HABÄNE falls within a legal disclosure requirement, HABÄNE will provide a clear and distinguishable disclosure at first exposure. In addition, on both market storefronts, where an AI-generated or materially AI-altered product representation could reasonably be mistaken for authentic product photography, HABÄNE will label it adjacent to the image with wording such as: “AI-generated visual — illustrative representation; actual product may differ.” This broader disclosure practice supports transparency and reduces the risk of misleading product presentation.

11.4 Human review and editorial responsibility

Public-facing HABÄNE marketing and product content is subject to human review and editorial responsibility before publication. Where available, provenance or machine-readable information attached to AI-generated content should not be intentionally removed solely to conceal its artificial origin.
